To celebrate Fair Isle February, the pattern is 50% until February 1, 2026.
Since February always makes me think of Groundhog Day and because I live just a short drive from Punxsutawney, I designed the Gobbler’s Knob Cowl. And if you are from Pennsylvania, you know no matter what Phil predicts, we’re settling in for at least six more weeks of winter weather.
The cowl is worked in the round and features multiple motifs that can be mixed and matched, making each project distinctly your own. It’s a choose-your-own adventure Fair Isle knit and the perfect antidote to the longest shortest month of the year.
Please note you are purchasing a pattern. You will receive a PDF pattern to download for the pictured item so that you can knit the cowl yourself.
Pattern Details:
Yarn: Juniper Moon Farm - Patagonia Organic Merino (382 yards) in Juniper, Pearl, and Mallow
Needles: Size 7 (24 inch) circular needle
Notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle
Gauge: 24 sts x 24 rows over 4 inches
Size: 24.5 inches round x 8 inches tall
